Why the fuck are you spending time and money on a silly water-on-lens effect and not the actual animation?! I’ve seen so many lazily drawn faces in regular still shots and key frames! This is 47 levels of retarded! I honestly question the decision in this crappy juxtaposition of a realistic water effect while watching poorly animated characters enjoy their lives! I didn’t see a stupid camera in the flowers when the angle of the scene changed either! I’m not going to stop using exclamation points either! I seriously can’t believe what I’m seeing here! Where’s that damn director?! Is he even in the same building as the rest of the staff?!
At least Uchida got some screen time.
You know, I’ve left the technology category alone for a very long time. Haven’t had much to say about computers and stuff, but this issue pissed me off so much I figured that some people might still be getting it.
This is an old issue. I’m surprised this hasn’t been fixed already, but I’m experiencing it right now, so I might as well address it. The solution is as easy as disabling “Enable Hardware Acceleration” in the Settings tab. When you right-click in any instance of flash, it will bring up a panel, which you can navigate to uncheck the checkbox in question. For those who are having a problem with Flash, and experiencing freezes, this probably the fix you’re looking for.
As far as I’m aware, it can be a problem with video card drivers — this I’ve been more concerned about because I recently installed a new graphics card. I idiotically swapped out my graphics card without completely uninstalling any drivers and software related to my previous card. Windows 7 seemed to not care, since it promptly booted up with the correct resolution, and immediately went to look for the appropriate drivers on the internet. Thanks W7 for being smart, but bad for me, since I should have cleaned up before installing. I might have turned hardware acceleration back on for some reason, which was obviously the wrong thing to do.
The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, or Vanishment for those who like ANN.com, is coming our way, after the post-trauma effects left over from the Endless Eight arc we were subjected to in the 2009 Haruhi run. It’s all fine and dandy, but the estranged opinion of everyone was that character designs ever since K-ON! simply went to shit. It’s quite a strong sentiment. I didn’t do any research but it already seems like all it needed was a seeded thought of “suckage” and everyone went with it. Primarily, this has to do with popular opinion about the character designs of Kyoto Animation; I’d like to think it started earlier with Lucky Star. Apparently flash based media players for CMSs (or maybe just in general) can’t play anything but 22Khz or 44Khz.
This means I have to either re-mix the old files, or just start from scratch. Bah.
